Guest designer at Lemoncraft

Hi, today I'm guest designer over at the Lemoncraft  blog. Last month I won a challenge overthere and as a price I got a VIP blog post. How awesome is that?

I've made many cards and other projects with the beautiful Lemoncraft papers and you can see a lot of them on today's blogpost over at Lemoncraft.

Here are a few examples.
This card is new and I used Lemoncraft papers: "house of roses"

Here's an exploding box I made using the pretty "forget me not"papers.

and for these decorated birdhouses I used just love me paperpad.

More examples on the lemoncraft blog, I hope you'll take a look.

Forget me not exploding box

Hi, today I have a blog post on the 14 craft bar blog sharing a exploding box I made using the sweet papers from Lemoncraft called "forget me not"

All the info and links to the supplies are the 14 craft bar blog. http://14craftbar.blogspot.nl/

I would appreciate it if you would take a look at the blogpost. Thanks!!

Wedding card

Mint is one of my favorite colors. One of my walls in my craft room is mint (and perfect for photo backgrounds). I've made a wedding card in mint, pink and gold, a perfect combination of colors.

All the flowers you see on this card are handmade using foamiran and stamens from 14 craft bar. The heartshaped chipboard is also from 14 craft bar shop.
For the pink flower I used organza foam and colored it with oil pastels.
The gold flowers are made with white 0.8 foamiran and painted with gold paint.
I used different flowers dies I have in my stash.

The paper I used is from Mintay papers called Birdsong. It has mint, pink and gold in it.

There are also applique elements on this card, which are from the lovely shop of Allmacraft, one of my favorite webshops.

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Later on I decided to add gold splatters to the card. Here is a link to a you tube video where you can see a very short impression.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day.

Decorated Paper Cake

Hi, lemoncraft has a new "let's scrap together" challenge and this time it's making a paper cake.
They already have a template available for you to print and cut out.

I've made 3 cake slices (if you want to make a whole cake then you have to make 12 pieces).
I printed the template on copy paper and taped it to my patterned paper. I used lemoncraft house of roses  for my cake slices.

I decorated the back and the top of the cake pieces with ribbons, laces, crochets, furry balls, flowers, pearl beads and leaves.

My color scheme was beige, white, and grey blue (ish).
To finish the cake pieces I tied ribbons around it.

It was a fun project to make. It would look great to do a whole cake but I didn't have enough of the same materials.

I'm entering these cake slices in the Lemoncraft challenge.

Thanks so much for visiting!!

Hugs, Henriette.

Hi, today I've made this shabby chic project. It's not a card, more a decoration.

I started with a piece of heavy cardboard and coated this with white gesso.
After this dried I glued on layers of beautiful lace, cheesecloth and added a fabric little square.
I made the square from cardboard, plush stuffing and fabric.

On top of the square I glued a chipboard and a beautiful lace flower from Allmacraft.
I also added skeleton leaves, gypsophilia, clear drops and microbeads.

The colors are white, pink and gold. I've added touches of gold paint on the chipboard pieces and on the edge of the leaves.

I love the romantic feel of this project.

I'm entering my project in this challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
